I think the raptor 700r is a far better machine. i have never been beat by a predator on my 700.

O.K i have both the Raptor 700 and the predator 500 and the raptor does bet the predd in a drag race and top speed,but the predator does bet the raptor 660.

comparing the 660 raptor to the 700 is like compairing the 400ex to the 450r

Don't mean to dig at old wounds, but I just recently purchased an outlaw 525 after much research. I have ridden everything and owned most. From a 300ex to a highly modified 450(now 501) honda that runs 111 octane leaded racing fuel that will smoke modded banshees, DS650's, Raptor 700 and 660, YFZ450, Renegade 800, Can Am 650, z400 highly modded, and just about everything in between. I have only had my outlaw for 4 days and I would not hesitate to race any of the above mentioned. There is no question it will walk all over a 700 raptor. That KTM is amazing, and proven. It has power everywhere but shines on the low end. I rode one with a pipe no airbox and rejetted and I could hardly hold on. People dont seem to recognize what this bike is capable of since there isnt alot of them. But if you are after a fast bike that is very comfortable to ride, outlaw is it. And dont let people fool you about the IRS. I can corner on it just like a straight axle and come out of the corners hotter with a much quicker hook-up. Everyone has thier favorites. And as you can see I am not a fan boy, I just ride whats fast. I dont care for polaris and if it had a polaris 525(if ones existed) I wouldnt even consider it. Its fast guys, go ride one.

 

another problem to me is when you want to upgrade the power i cant extend the suspestion in the back like your chould your swingarm, this is why you never see any "crazy" predators.
