2) And if i can aftermarket it out to help me hang what do you guys suggest? The only extras i have a alba nerf bars and plus 2 arms on the way.

Well i've seen raptor 350's hang with the bigger machines on a track, because most of it is skill level, but you will have to work really hard to compete and of course if you get good riders on them yfz's,raptor, preds, etc.,you pretty much have no chance. To start off with, you should get some wheels, tires, shocks, exhaust, air filter, and a bumper is always helpful in cross country racing. Now any of this will help you in racing. If you got the money, then get into engine mods.

thanks man. I hope u are right that i will be able to hang. I have found a 409 cc stroker kit for around $1600. do you know anything about stroker kits. and i have researched new shocks, a arms, shocks, rev limiters, exaust systems and the whole nine. I think i am hooked. thanks for ur info

If you drop thousands of dollars into your 350 you could mabey keep up with a stock yfz 450, or TRX 450R, but you could hardley compete with any modified 450 racer. You would be best off just to sell your raptor 350 and buy either a yfz, a 450R, or a LTZ 450 when it comes out. I would choose the suzuki 450.

i have an 04 warrior and a cam and piston jet pipe tires and when I race i could stay right with the 400's but when the 450 came up they just went right buy me. and also i heard that a strocker isn't the way to go just get a good cam and piston filter, pipe and it should help alot. and its cheaper. But thats is what i have heard.
