i went 63 on my scrambler 500 H.O.-gps
i went 90 on my honda xr650r-gps
i went 45 on my ski doo 720cc-gps (boy that was slow)
i went 87 on my buddies 780 trinity raptor! (it would pull higher gearing)-radar
i went 19 on foot-estimate

about 60 on the ex is when i started bouncing off the revlimiter. I hit a jump out on the trails top speed and it nose dived right away.

uhhh, no a 400ex stocker will do around 65 to 68, a stock z400 will do around 70 to 73, a stock raptor 660 will do around 74 to 76, yfz450 and raptor700 are around 78,

Yeah for starters what are u using 2 clock them off with gps radar gun ? what are u doing it on sand or paved road weight of rider my cousin had a 400ex and it could give me bike a good run and its a banshee so she gotta be hitting more than 68 because the 450 r cant keep up with the 400 ex man i know about that bike i cant see that bike only doing 68 it does way more go on the net for stock speeds that arent bias and ull see

 

82 mph with stock gearing, never do that again, quad likes to float on the highway and wander a little, I stay around 45 now. speed hurts
been close to 90 in my rail, to freaking scary

 

my friend, you are sadly mistaken. you said a 450r can't keep up with the 400ex?? your off your rocker, if a 400ex is keeping up with your banshee, then your not getting traction, or you SHEE is slow as moses. I'm not a know it all, but i will tell you that i have seen all these bikes drag race(pretty much in stock form), raptor 660, raptor 700, cannondale 440 cannibal, yfz450, z400, 400ex, warrior, 300ex, blaster, 450r, banshee, 250r, 330r, 250r 3 wheeler, and maybe some more. i have alot of friends with quads. and we have lined them up every which way. holeshot-from a roll-and side by side till top end. stock for stock, i give the order by how i see it
some are estimates due to only reading shootouts in the mags
FIRST PLACE-honda 450r (the new 07's are faster in a straight line)
3 way tie for SECOND-yfz450, raptor700, and the ds650-(the suzuki 450 and the kaw 450 should be here too!!!!!)
THIRD-the no longer cannindales 440
FOURTH-predator 500
FIFTH-raptor 660
SIXTH-kfx700, BANSHEE
SEVENTH-suzuki z400
EIGHTH-400 ex
NINETH-warrior by a nose or two over the BLASTER
TENTH-my 11 year old's 300EX

 

I blew the fenders off (since it don't have doors) of an 07 trx 450r (piped and jetted) with a stock 06 Predator. It was close for about 2secs then it got ugly quickly.
