Default Help me decide which sport quad to buy??

I am looking at an LTZ400 with a BB 440 and pipe very clean 2005 (30hrs), but would I be happier with the EFI 700 Raptor or 660?

I am 6'-5" so I kinda don't like the Predator it feels a little small? I want to ride this thing in the sand and in the mtns in the occasional snow patch and mud hole. My first thought was a Banshee but I think that would be a pain in the aese in the mtns...

What are your opinions, I am not looking for any specific brand but my (loyal) dealer carries Polaris, Yamaha and Suzuki.

Thanks!

I'd wait around for a year or so........suzuki is supposed to have a new quad out........and ktm/polaris is too.........they are both looking to be very nice. Have you considered the bombadier ds650??? That sucker is very nice to dune with.........like riding on a couch........and lots of power too.

The z400 is a nice machine and a 440 runs pretty well, but a 440 doesnt have the punch that a mildly modded 660 has. Judging from the info on the 700 its a great handling bike and will only take minor modifications, maybe even just bolt ons, to out power a 440 zuk. The 660 needs suspension work to be as good as a z on the track and trails but if you can find one with these things already done (they are more common now with 660 riders selling their modded bikes for new 700's) I think you'd be happier. If you can wait of course that's always the best option because the bikes both new and used will be cheaper in time but then you dont have the extra time that you could be riding a new/different machine. If you dont do much riding in the winter months I'd hold off until spring.

If the Pred feels to small, then the 440Z will be even smaller. I would at least go eyeball a 700 before doing anything else.

another vote for 700...plus it hauls out of the box, it's the new fastest stock sport quad, it goes like 80
