Default 400 Ex vs. Scrambler 400

the 400 scramblers arent 541lbs!!they are only 478lbs,100lbs heavier than the ex..stock vs. stock they are pretty much even in a drag race,on tight twisty trails the 400ex with equal riders will be out front,on more open trails the 400 scrambler will either be in front or right on the @ss of the ex,with a few mods the scrambler will easily spank the ex in a drag..

this is for Thewayout420. i know this is off topic but i wanted to ask you if you felt much of a power difference with the porting? and also if the lightened flywheel made any differnce? which clutch kit did you get? could you please respond back. i'm currently thinking of ideas of how to make my scram 400 have more power and faster.

the port work made a night and day difference, its over twice the hp that the stock motor made..ive ran a trail lightened flywheel (keeps electric start),i wouldnt say it gave me any more power but the motor reved alot faster.im running the race lightened one now (no electric start) and the machine revs as fast as a banshee does, well worth the money.im running hpd's aggressive clutch kit and i have a few different springs to play around with.with the mods you see in my sig,i can easily beat a piped raptor or banshee..

OK
How many people do you see racing a 400ex ( alot )

How many do you see racing a scrambler ( few )

That should tell you something.
