Default KFX 400 exhaust

Mon January 09, 2006 9:39 AM

I recently put a full yoshi exhaust on my bike. Everything works fine. My problem is the pipe sticks out a little too far by the rear fender and it is melting my riding pants. Does anyone know of a universal heat shield that I could use????

You could use that pipe wrap that is made out of a rope material. It works well.

Go to the local auto parts store. They sell "header wrap", which is a woven fabric about 2" wide. It works great.
