twist or thumb?

I have to say I like the thumb. I feel like I would have more control with a thumb. I have never ridden with a twist, on a quad, only on dirt bikes. I feel that dirt bikes should stay twists and quads should stay thumbs. But thats just my opinion.

Well i never heard anyone ever complain when riding over rocks of accidentally gunning the throttle on a dirtbike.............i had a twist on my blaster for 2 years and i absolutely loved it. It does take some time to get used to, but after that you'll never want to go back to thumb throttle.....at least i didnt lol!!! I plan on gettin one on my rappy very soon!

personally i like thumb because it is a less risk kinda thing. if ur about to crash or somthing and you get scared u tense up and you might twisth teh throttel, its easier to let go of the thumb
I would also use a thumb throttle on a manual and a twist on an automatic trans.

For MX/Racing a twist throttle is great but, for trail riding or if your riding on any terrian thats not smooth the twist throttle sucks, because when you hit the bumps your hand moves so you end up gunning it or stalling out.
