Info on the new Suzuki Sport Quad
#1
This information was taken from the ATVscene Fast-Trak news column in the 11/15/2000 issue.
"The originator of the sport quad concept is coming back! Look for Suzuki to release an early 2002 model sport/performance quad sometime next spring or summer. The machine is in the testing stage now and reportedly utilizes a 400cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke powerplant similar to the DR-Z400 dirt bike. More news here on the scene when it comes available."
Personally I prefer the 300-400cc 4-stroke sport quads over the big-bore machines anyday. Way too go Suzuki.....

finally suzuki is comin out with a new sport quad!
i hope its better than the mediocre utilities they've been puttin out lately. its tto bad they didn't put the RM engine on it though duz any1 know what the biggest engineon an RM u can get. duz it go any higher than a 250? a new quadracer with the rm engine in it would rule i'd take that over a raptor even!

a state of the art chassis & suspension with a well balanced RM engine in a quadracer would be the poop! its been noted that the gearsof any MX bike don't hold up that wellin a quad due to having more torque on the cases & more traction at the rear, so the gears would need to have some beef added.
i think if they really want to do something cool it'de 4-wheel independent suspension, 12" travel on all four, and dry weight around 280 lbs.
it would be a killer racer for any class of racing... adaptable to the nth degree... that's for sure.
then watch the competition try to play catch-up!
