Hey guys,

I just joined this forum. I recently purchased a Kawasaki Mojave 250. It's a '94 and it's in really good shape. It runs perfect and I have no buyers remorse.

I'm not very experienced with atv's (I had a Blaster for a while). Most of my time and experience is from streetbikes.

Besides the Mojave, my other toys include a Suzuki TL1000R V-Twin Superbike and an MR2 Spyder.

So, I just wanted to drop in and introduce myself.

Anyone with info, links, opinions on the Mojave are welcome to speak up.

Use this link for a pic of all three machines:

Welcome.

The Mojave has a reputation for going through one of its cams quickly. One of them doesn't get oiled real well(????). I would suggest you use one of Maxima's oils, because they have a huge "add pack" (high pressure additives that protect surfaces as a last ditch if there is poor oiling). I presonally prefer Extra which is an ester synthetic, but they also have a synth blend and an old fashion petroleum, if you insist on not running a synthetic.

Ask around in the Kawasaki forum, for other people's experiences.
