Got a new Predator

Default Got a new Predator

I'm lovin' it so far. The fan seems to run longer than I would expect though. Anyone else seen that with theirs? I haven't seen the temperature light come on though. I guess if it's still doing that in a month or two I'll take it back in to have it looked at while it's still under warranty.

Yeh..fans runs often on all Predators..I had my temp light come on for the first time in my last race..crazy amount of mud packed in the Radiator.

I have had my TLD predator for about a year and my fan is always running. I ordered some air scoops from Rath Racing hope that will help keep the power plant cool

Same thing here too. The fan runs almost constintly on the 04 and 05 preddys I ride with.

how is the radiator on that thing (thick film or regular grill) i suggest to try out some maxima coolant in it,it help
maintain a lower consistent temp during operation time.

yup my friends 03 pred has the fan on pretty much all day when we trail ride.

the fans are on on predators alot because polaris sets the thermostat very low to protect the motor. your motor isnt hot, the thermostat is just set low

You won't be disapointed!It's a killer hp ride.Are you piped?If not,pay close attention to your hp now,then put on an hmf with a rath intake.Awsome bike!
