Help!!!something bad happend

So i was out today on my kfx700, and it was running normal then out of no where it starts make a bad sound from the motor. So i shut it down right away, and pushed it home. The i check my belt becaise i thought the belt broke, and it wasnt, so i check my oil and the god damn thing was dry, i dont know how this could of happend i looked for leeks and there wasnt any, and i checked my the weekend before and it was fine. Like i dont know how this happen, and no warning lights came on. It didnt sease up i dont think, so is my engine going to be alright? i took it to the shop but wont know the details till tuesday or so....

U more than likly trashed ur crank bearings and all the bearings in the bottom end,,, Put new oil in it and fire it up and see what happends the worst u can do iz stick a piston.. Might as well replace it if ur gonna need all new bearings.. Oppen the valve covers also and poor alittle in there 2 get some to the top end.. Hope this helps! let me know the out come U might have saved it by cutting it off,, By bike Jumped time on my and i said F it so i hammered it all the way home like 4 or 5 miles riding like normal and i took it apart when i got home and fixed the chain and chain tentioner spring and put it back together And its fine No valve damage or anything LOL guess i got lucky! hope u do

Thanks man that put some hope back into me. I know someone that has the same bike as me and he lost his cranks, who that cause it to burn the oil cause i know my oil was good when i left for the day, and i dont understand how it would be dry with no leeks

New engine comes sometime nextweek. Once its fixed its sold and the 400 is comming my way....not putting up with anymore bull from this 700

but to answer your question, call the nearest Honda dealer around you and they should be able to mail you one with the right information.
