I have a 400ex and when i go to ride it,it has some trouble starting.(it is electric start).It will start then it will shut off.the quad will run fine after i get it going ang warmed up a little bit.then i can shut if on and it will start right back up.is this normal?is it just that it needs to be warmed up and then it will run like a champ or is there something really wrong?

 

Have you tried using the choke?

 

Is it totally stock, or has the air box or lid been modified? Stock exhaust?
