OK i need to no wat is faster and or better jumping with...YFZ450 or predator 500 evryone say ones faster than the other well which one is faster stock

 

top speeds will be close, the yfz is definitely the better jumper

 

The YFZ will kill the predator speed wise. maybe close on top end, but it will take the predator a week to catch up because the 450 has crazy acceleration. As for jumping check out my pics, there is a pic of one of my friends on there with his yfz with 10-12 feet under him. The YFZ jump nicely.

 

definatly the yfz! if you buy the yfz ride it a while then go ride a pedator, it will make you very pleased with your choice! good luck!

 

right now at the race tracks the yfz are battling it out with the honda 450r i have a friend that races a yfz and it is very fast

 

lol, I just watched an 06' YFZ get beat by an 04' Predator last weekend so don't go around telling people bullsh*t about YFZs being faster then Preds. Sure some YFZs are faster then some Preds but so are there some Preds that are faster then some YFZs. Just thought i'd clear things up a bit!

 

The pred by stock testing is 1-2mph faster. Accleration stock was won 8 times out of 10 with the same drivers swapping machines. 30 ft run the pred avg. .2-.3 sec faster.(about an atv length)

 

Speed and accelleration are two different things. The YFZ is quicker. The Pred is faster (so some say).

 

Both are fast, but if you want to jump then the YFZ is the hands down winner. You will get "Who is faster than" arguments all day long, but no one will dispute which one is better in the air and better on the landings.

 

Ok hold on to your panties. I should have clarified, the YFZ was killing it in like 500 feet. We didnt have 2 miles of sand to wind them out on. But seriously, in the distance we were going, the preddy had no prayer.
