Do they really save your engine case from being damaged from a broke chain? How much do they cost?

Yes, they do protect your engine cases much better than the oem stuff. They aren't foolproof or anything, but pretty darn close. A good one will run you between $20 and $30.00[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]
