What do you think is/was the best sport quad ever produced?

 

there have already been 100's of threads asking this same question.

but in my opinion its the 87 LT500R [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

thats easy its blaster its a no brainer ... just look at the sales numbers over the yrs.

 

Quadzilla and of course the Banshee...not that I'm biased or anything [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Although neither are extremely sporty stock. I think that would have to go to the YZF 450.

 

It would without a doubt be the honda 250r everything today they even try to base off of it.

 

My vote goes to the 250r on this one. It took a long time after the R came out for any of the manufacturers to make something that could compete for it in a real race. Sure, in a drag race the banshee and quadzilla had it, but when it comes to handling, i don't think even the new 450s still handle as well as a 250r with the same mods. It's a fun, well built and well designed machine that's withstood the test of time.

 

Banshee of course..... it's the best theres no comp on it, specailly when i has evrythang on it..... bansheee duh.

 

IMO I think the best quad ever would be any of the cannondale/ATKs I love them

 

Honda 250R. Great combination of handling, lightness, simplicity, and performance!

If they still sold them, I would have a garage full.

 

BEST? that is very open. best for what?
stock for stock i would say yfz450, even though i am a 2stroke man
throw in a couple mods and i would say honda 250r...
