I'd never even think of doing that with a grizzly.

Like playing basketball with a bowling ball.

I admit I was shocked.

I bet that Grizzly is too.

Can't be nothing stock under that thing!</end quote></div>

Why not?
Ive done some jumping on an outlander. Jumps nice Turns nice too with the right tires.
Most poeple who say utes cant jump have simply never tried.

Well.... when I was growing up, a buddy of mine had a Fourtrax 300 4x4... the old full-time 4-wheel drive machine.
He rode the the dog out of that thing like he stole it... and tried to ride it like a sport quad.

Everything we did on 250X's, Mojave's, Quadsports, LT250's, 250R's, Tecate 4's, etc... he would try to hand with us on the 300 4x4.
And if there was every a guy who could out-ride him on the same machine... well I would have paid to see that... LOL.
If they would have had UTE racing back then, he'd probably be famous by now.

But anyways... I'd never think of leaping a Grizzly over an MX track like that because to me it would never occur to me that the Grizzly would be a choice for that application. It's like your Jeep banner there... I guess you could install some new suspension on a Jeep to lower it way down, coupled with some racing rims and Pirelli tires to make it handle better, and buy a bunch of hardware to go under the hood... and take it as hard as it will go through the 600-foot slalom course with Corvettes.... but it's probably nothing you have ever thought of or would consider in the future.... and even if you did, you'd likely never record a trap speed of 65 mph with it.

It doesn't surprise me, plenty of the guys I ride with treat their utes like sports. The resulting broken frames, shattered cv joints, and general drivetrain abuse convinced me. While you can ride a ute like a sport, you had better trade often or have deep pockets for repairs.

ok so let's see your utility drift around a turn on a trail going 60 in a stable fashion, or pop a wheelie in any gear (or start off from a stop and ride a wheelie up through 50-60mph), or hit a 60 ft jump hundreds of times in a row and not take on any real damage, then hit a tree going 10 and not have to replace the front plastics and the front rack, along with the front bumper (vs just the bumper on a sport quad)

A sport quad because it is the only thing to ride in the dunes as far as fast and fun goes and easier than a bike. Most other places I would prefer a dirtbike. It is so much fun riding on trails and rocks with bikes. It's absolutely crazy fun. Esspecially in Moab Utah. Moab on a dirtbike is some of the most fun I have ever had. It's awesome riding up the slickrock!

I have both. The Rancher for cruising and working. The Preddy for having fun and racing.
