Hey yall, I got an 04 lt-z400 and was wandering what was the best performance bang I could get for about 500-1000 bucks? Also I have an 05 vrsca vrod for sale on ebay with power commander and other goodies with an opening bid of 10000. under the name ibgillis I bought it new and it only has about 2600 miles ..never down...never a problem...... by the way, thanks to anyone who replies about my z400... i'll take any advice I can get about it

 

put a big bore kit on it or a jet kit to make it fast and for little boost put an exhaust not a clip on the full thing

 

im very happy with what i did.
even if you just take the cap off the muffler, open up the air box, and re jet (142.5) it should get you to 30 hp. after that it starts to get expensive.

 

What's on the quad now???? Is it still stock????

This engine responds nicely to a few simple mods, like opeing up the airbox, an aftermarket header and muffler, and air filter. Lots of extra bang for not to many bucks!

Don't go big bore......just keep it simple and reliable!
