Default wheelies and jumping

I've been riding dirtbikes for awhile from a yz 125 then to a cr 250. I finally decided to sell my cr 250 and buy my first quad so i got a 04 yfz 450. I will admit i was never good at riding wheelies on the bikes because i didnt have the greatest balance on them but i did feel that jumping a bike was pretty easy. I will be picking up my quad tomorrow so i've never really gotten a chance to really ride it hard yet. Riding wheelies and jumping is a rush and i wanna know how they are on a fourwheeler compaired to a dirtbike.

well, on a dirtbike they are probably easier...I know on my cousins cr450 i can pull wheelies in any gear without having to reef on the bars or anything. But its not as dangerous on a quad because you dont have to balance as much (side to side) and its probably more fun cuz you can ride them slow or fast....you'll beable to pull huge wheelies on that 450. it goes like a bat outta hell

I like to jump on a bike better but I can wheelie just as easy on a quad and can find the balance point a lot easier, plus you have those great little things called grab bars or rear racks to help if you need to use a foot for balance, and will help protect the atv from going over backwards(to some extent.)
