and cant you just drop a busa motor into a dsframe and do some mods and get 200hp? i've heard of 300 on one- might have been a turbo- one crazy story said 600- that would be cool- 1.2hp for every lb

You could put that motor in the DS frame, but then its not a DS anymore. May look like one, but its not. All the things I mentioned are still banshee parts, just changes the cylinders and cranks, same cases and everything.

and with a drag frame it should be the same results in a drag

yeah, sounds dooable to me. IMO a banshee is just a better platform to start with. I think with cost and overall performance in mind, going banshee would be better. But you are right, a DS could be made into a mean dragger as well. Im not going to argue that fact.

Another question now-
Which one is easier to drop a r1 or busa engine into(i beleive they are both 4 cylinder engines)
- the $$80,000 basheebusa that i saw had a TON of frame mods done to it, it didnt even look like a banshee anymore- just the plastic (at least the turbo dsbusa's still look a bit like a normal ds except for the +12 or how long swingarm
