ok my frainds are bragin and saying that each of there dirt bikes will beat the other one and fraind 1 has a 2007 crf150f with a t-4 pipe to go with it no jets and fraind 2 has 2007 yz85 stock both vary skilled riders but its just on a strat drag down the road who would win

 

YZ 85 would win. The four stroke would probably get a better start but the yz 85 has TREMENDOUS top end and the little F wouldn't know what just blew by.

By the way, is your friend with the crf150f STUPID??? why would he waste his money one a 150f and then waste more money for a pipe? He should have gotten a crf150r or crf150r Expert Edition- the crf150R is basically a CR85R with its old steel frame and a 150 engine

If your friend had gotten a crf150r, the yz85 would get smoked!!

 

ok yes these is what I thought I have driven them both and I was about scared to go all out with the yz85 but with the crf150 dint think it was that snappy like he brags it up to be but wanes you got going it was ok for a Honda and he got the t-4 free so

 

my friend just got a crf150r today- i want to drive it. im jealous- he tops out at around 75mph and im topping out at about 50 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

and he gets there quicker too

 

What do you have you have a crf150 or something else and yes the crf is fast ones it gets there don?t get to top speed as fast as yz or I don?t feel it dose

 

no i have a ds250- its slower than a crf100- about the same as a crf80f i think

i have driven a crf150f and a crf230f and the yz85 would walk all over them.

 

ya I have driven a ds they are fun and light and the yz85 yes it is going beat the crf150 but my friend is getting a big bore kit for the crf150 so its going be really fast

 

YZ-85 no challenge. CRF 150f's are ok but the 150r's or whatever the race one is rips. I have a YZ80 with a full pipe in my garage but its not assembeled yet. Crazy1291, you say your ds is slower than a CRF100? I cant stand mine bcuz it looks like it's standing still next to my raptor. Hopefully the suspension is better because getting 4ft of air and going about 13 feet and bottoming out front and rear really sucks!!! How big of a big bore kit?

 

you guys need to get something more powerful for what you guys need the ds 250 are not that fast at all they only have like 20 hp if that my brothers blaster would smoke the ds you guys shooed look in to them and I don?t no how big the bore his parents wont tell him lol
