Default yamaha blaster

I have two questions, any help that you could give would be greatly appreciated!

1. How do I remove the rear brake pads, and then compress the piston on my Yamaha blater?

2. I just rebuilt the top end on this blaster, and it fired right up. However, it started to rev up to the point I shut it down. Any ideas on what would cause this? Or how do I turn down the idle?

Thanks guys.

make sure your throttle cable isn't pinched somewhere. I noticed on my blaster when i turn the handlebars all the way one way, it pinches the cable and revvs it up. For rear brake pads, I gotta know what year you have. (they changed to hydraulic) I would recomend upgrading to the new rear brakes one way or another.
