Default Outlaw 450 engine

I already posted this question in the Polaris section but nobody's answered it yet and it's been a few days. How does the new ktm 450 motor in the outlaws compare to the 500 motor in the old predators??? I had an 04 predator and LOVED the power and now I'm looking at a new outlaw. I'm sure I'll end up with the 525 but Iam just curious as to the power of the 450. Thanx in advance!!!

I can't say but I am told the 450 has more power, over rev & better gear spacing, & don't forget the KTM's all come with hydrolic clutches. I got an outlaw 525 and I has more power than a Raptor 700,I know for sure because I used to have one. It is also faster than the jap. 450's...I race them almost every Sunday. If you are not worried about class limitations to 450 just get the 525. You won't regret it.

I had the opportunity to ride both and the 450 runs every bit as well as the 525 and pulls stronger into the higher rpms, but it is more of a track built quad from the factory with the smaller tires. So it depends on what you plan on doin, if your just riding trails and not going to hit the track every now and then I'd just go with thte 525s
