Yeah, 11 wide will fit fine.

What kind of quad, what is your price range, and what kind of riding do you do?

I would say Razr 2, Kenda Klaw, or Holeshot HD. Klaws are lighter than the others, cheaper, and are a very long lasting and good all-around performer. Klaws get my vote.

I'm looking for new tires soon also... I've heard Holeshot tires are a favorite. But, which ones?
I have an 04 400EX, ride trails mostly. No racing. Mud whenever I find it. The bike is all stock too.
I was thinking about trying the 22 inch tall tires since I kept getting hung up on ruts the last few times I've been out.
The Tires on it now are the original that it came with.

If you do mud, then forget holeshots, razrs, or any other knobby style tire like that. They don't clean out well, and just turn into a big mud roller instead of a tire. Tires with wider spaced out lugs are what you need if you ride in any real mud. For just a couple inches of mud on the surface the holeshot style tires will work, but any more than that and you'll be pushing your luck. The Kenda sport radials are a good all-around, smooth riding tire that also cleans out very well in mud because of the very wide tread spacing. You can do 22's, but unless you change out your front sprocket you'll lose a little low end grunt because of the increased rollout. They will also add more weight and take a noticable toll on your handling from the larger, more flexible sidewall and higher center of gravity. So you have to weigh the costs and benefits, and decide if those negatives are worth an extra inch of ground clearance.

I-RAZR radials work really well on the 400exx too..... the wide lug spacing of the radial works well in mud and you get less bump steer and a bigger contact patch with a radial.

I am looking for something similiar to the stock tires on my 400. I do get into the mud, but not anything deep. If I wanted to go deep in the mud, I would have gotten a 4wd.
I have been riding with a buddy from work that has a 300ex, with mud tires on the back. My worn out stock tires work better untill there are some ruts. His 22" tires let him get through ruts that left me stranded several times. But my stockers would go though the surface mud so much better.
