I have a 2000 kawi mojave with holeshots and a jardine rt4 pipe I LOVE IT but my buddy just traded his in and bought a used kfx 700. now im always playin catch up hes just way 2 fast 4 me so im interested in getting a bigger quad and was wondering if u guys had any suggestions on what 2 get

Polaris or KTM sport quads, Raptor 700, Can-Am Renegad 800.

 

The fastest thing you could get for low money would be a DS 650. You should smoke the KFX!

The KFX is a huge pig! Goes fast in a straight line...but that's all!

 

Sorry guys this is an old post and i already decided on a 400ex cuz i hear you cant beat the reliability any where plus NO FREQUENT REBUILDS and the 05's and down are in my price range! plus they still have some power not the best top speed but no quad is perfect. right? and handling is good to i hear.so thts the best choice in my opinion. If you think im wrong plz let me know ur opinion id really like 2 hear it!

 

i think the ltz/kfx400 would be better just as reliable and liquid cooling as well.

 

good choice with the ex! yeah a z400 and kfx 400 are water cooled but you cant be the reliability of a 400ex. if a 400cc water cooled engine was sooo important for the ex, im sure Honda would've added one to the 05 model cause thats when they made minor changes to the ex (plastics, reverse, and one higher tooth on the front sprocket)

 

400ex is a great choice, I have been riding one for a long time and never been disapointed. I just bought a Rincon and sadly i am selling my 05 400ex. It is going to be missed.
