Welcome to the forums PB. Sport quads are great for sport riding but suck at work. It sounds like you need a small ute with racks on it to haul stuff, not a Raptor or anything like that. I like Sportsmans but there are others that get the job done too.

 

well i really want a manual shift if i get a ute but i want to keep up with the yfz's

 

If you want a ute that will keep up with sport quads then it will need a lot bigger engine. I think the big ones are all automatics.

i have a new quad in the running. my friend says a rapta 350 would be a better quad 4 me. wut do u guys think???????

 

I think it would be a good choice. It's also a great starter quad. IMO most ppl could leap frog the 250's and go to something like the raptor or 300/400ex with no prob.
