I was thinking about getting one for my yfz450 with a pipe and jet kit, if i got this would i need to change the jetting?

 

Yes, you need to rejet to accomidate for the extra air coming in and exhaust going out of your motor. Fuel and air have to run at the right ratio or you'll start burning up motors.

What type of riding do you do? If mostly dunes you don't need it, just take off your whole air box and run a K&N w/ outerwear and you'll be set. If you ride mostly trails with rocks, dirt, and mud than I would say that velocity intake would be a very nice mod.
