Has anyone seen the latest issue of 4 Wheel Action? Well they have a short review of the new Gas Gas 300 quad! Guess what the name is? The GNU, as in a fat slow lazy cattle like animal. Geez, can't they think of a better name? How about weasel or cockroach;-) Other names that spring to mind: leach, warthog, pig, toad, llama, donkey, hellgramite, etc. Don't tell me that GNU is all they could come up with. Maybe it means something different en espanol?

I'll shed some light on the helgermite for you. It is an ugly centipede-like creature that is and excellent bait for smallmouth bass. They are found in rivers and streams, usually under rocks or in the mud. They have large pinching jaws that can be very painful if they get ahold of your finger. During the summer the grow wings and leave the water and fly all over, usually in the thousands.

I remember watching a childrens TV show quite awhile back growing up that had a character on it nemed: Garry Gnu. I had heard that he went to engineering school and got a job with Gas Gas. WTH was it called? Oh well.

Come to think about it, Thunderbolt wouldn't be a bad name either

I agree. ATV sport names just suck...especially honda-an EX? Okay-lets get an animal name like RoadRunner. If its fast pick a fast animal like Cheetah (well not Cheetah but some fast animal).
