What is better a 300ex or a 350 warrior
#12
Wait just a second here. For one the 300ex has way better suspension. i don't know whice 300 you've ridden but it must have sucked. And another screw the wheel spacers. The 300 already handles a lot better than the Warrior.

wheel spacers? who said anything about wheel spacers. And yes the Warrior will munch on 300EX's all day long. Hey guys, come on here they're both good bikes and ride whatcha like. I'm not prejudiced heck I even ride with guys on Piglaris machines.

I RACE A 98 WARRIOR. IT HAS SOME STUFF DONE TO IT AND THERE ARE NO 300S IN MY CLASS THAT CAN TOUCH ME. BUT I KNOW HOW TO RIDE THE WARRIOR. I'M ALSO A BIG GUY AND CAN THROW THE BIKE AROUND. THE ONLY THING THAT IS BAD IS THAT THE EXTRA WIEGHT WILL WEAR YOUR OUT. I WONT GIVE MY WARRIOR UP UNTIL YAMAHA COMES OUT WITH A NEW ONE.

October issue of 4-Wheel ATV Action magizine. Page 24, first paragraph. I quote,"The EX's power is well-matched to the size of the machine. In Fact, in every situation except wide-open desert or logging roads, the EX's superb handling manners allow it to smoke every other sport machine."
Case closed!
I case you want more. I quote,"In tight woods, the 300 is a dream machine. Only by getting more than six feet of air and landing in the flats will you be able to bottom out the suspension."
There is no doubt in my mind that a Warrior or Sport 400 is faster on the top end. But the EX wins every other battle from the get go. And it's suggested retail price is cheaper. Don't get me wrong. I'm not ripping on any of the other quads. But the next time that someone calls it a little EX. Maybe they should check thier facts.

Is that the same 4 wheel atv action that says every quad Honda puts out is the best thing going, no matter what. You should never listen to magazines you should always trust your own experiences. I have ridden some of the tightest trails with and ex and kept up with him all the way, then we hit an open field, clicked up to 6th, nuff said the ex was choking on my dust.

No, I think that I will still trust the mags for some things. They have very deep pockets and can buy several models of each quad and test them. Same pro riders on the same stock quads. I believe it when a guy who test quads for a living rides two different machines, and says what he or she likes and dislikes about both. Maybe Honda just makes better machines, or maybe ever single atv magizine is corrupted. You can make the call on that one. But what I do know is that an EX and Warrior are very equal machines. The EX will lose the Warrior on the trail and the Warrior will lose the EX on the big straits. And if you see it another way, it's probaly the rider. Not everyone is a pro you know.
