That is why I said one of the fastest stock and no you have that backwards with a correct rider who knows how to short shift a Raptor will destroy any 450 in a strait line hands down. The only stock bike as of right now that can beat a 700 is the KTM 525 and Polaris SRA Predator with the same 525 motor! Just sayin! [IMG][/IMG]</end quote></div>

Actually the outlaw 525irs is faster than the straight axle version because the irs hooks up better than the sra.Just sayin!

They are close enough that the rider makes the difference. Every stock rappy I have raced I have won. I think it was due to how fast the 450s rev. The 450s can get to top speed a little faster. If the race was longer the rappy would pull away.

the ex is air cooled so you wont have to worry about low coolant or anything coolant wise. a oil cooled can only overheat with low oil, which should be checked ever time you ride. my friend had a 300ex and got it so hot he started to boiling fuel! but it still ran fine afterwards.

Thanks!

I ride mostly utility bikes now (Kind Quad 700; copperhead CDI; HMF pipe; ITP Mud Lites). Had a yamaha warrior years ago. Just wanting to get back into the sport bikes.

I've decided to go with the Raptor! I'll post pics!

All it needs is nerf bars, bumper, and skid plates!
