Husaberg Quad Enforcer Four
#3
The last word I had was that the Husaberg project was originally farmed out to a company in either Italy or Spain & since Husaberg was unable to control production quality control under that arrangement, they halted production and were in the process of returning the project to Sweden, where the company is based, and where quality could be restored to usual Swedish standards. No definite release date was given for any of the models.

YES, ACCORDING TO LATEST DIRTWHEELS MAGAZINE DATED ON DECEMBER '99, HUSABERG IS RELEASING THIER NEW ENFORCERS FOR THE YEAR 2000. I ALSO HERD THAT THE FACTORY IS TAKING MEASURES TO IMPROVE RELIABILITY AND PERFORMANCE. ALL THIS QUAD NEEDS IS BEADLOCK WHEELS W/ MX TIRES AND THIS SHOULD BE A COMPETITIVE RIDE. WHATS ALSO GOOD IS THAT IT WILL RETAIL FOR ABOUT $7,000 TO $9,000 DOLLARS,THEREFORE, YOU DON'T HAVE TO SPEND OVER $12,000.00 DOLLARS TO RACE ON MX.

JJFAT,
I would be surprised to see anyone take a bone stock enforcer to the track and actually be competitive. I may be wrong, but from the sounds of em, they will prolly break before the race is over.

I dont understand these quads at all. They have to be some of the ugliest performance quads ever. If they are gonna improve the performance and reliability of them, they should also improve the fit and finish. Who in there right mind would spend that kind of money for a quad that looks like i built it in my shed? Ya gotta love the gray-primer frame, and how the plastic fits together nicely.*L* Looks like it was made from 7 different bikes. And the plastic shines so nice..*L* I dont care if it was the best performing quad ever ( which im sure its not), i still would never buy one.

Mike Johnson is correct, you could build one hell of a quad for $7000.00! And it wouldn't be so ugly.

THERE IS NO WAY YOU COULD BUILD A RACE READY QUAD WITH ONLY $7,000. UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE A QUAD PLUS THE $7000. I HERD THAT A RACE READY PROFESSIONAL LEVEL QUAD SUCH AS THE "LEAGER" QUADS COST ABOUT $15,000 TO BUILD. AS FAR AS RELIABILITY, I ALSO READ ON DIRT WHEELS MAG THAT ONE OF TWO ENFORCERS RACING ON A TWELVE HOUR ENDURO FINISHED THE RACE WITH NO PROBLEMS. ANY HOW, I ONCE QUOTED TIM FARR (THREE TIME GNC CHAMP)THAT ON A "MX TRACK IT'S 90% RIDER EFFORT", NOT MACHINE. THAT MEANS 10% OF MACHINE EFFORT SHOULDN'T SUM TO $7,000. GET MY DRIFT!
