Yes! Various companies sell winch mounting plates for sport quads--many of which are used on trails, in muddy conditions, etc.
I have decided to keep my 2004 Polaris Predator, and will be installing a Gorilla winch on it.
Does it look stupid? --only until you pull yourself, or some one else, out of being stuck.

What type of sport quad are we talking about?

 

Yeah alot of people do it, it's better to be safe than sorry and have a backup just incase

 

I have a honda trx 250ex. I know it's a small quad but for now it gets the job done.

 

Man must be ruff terrain. From my experience with those lil' 250EX's they will go about anywhere.

 

yeah it goes through just about anything. I was just wanting the winch just to be prepared for the unexpected. so which winch would be the best for my 250? but also work if I get a bigger quad? thanks.
