Zukiracer, I didn't say ATV freestyle shows, i mean like doing tricks on motocross races. I know there is a little ATV freestyle stuff like that.

I agree, more tricks are needed on quads, but not at the expense of the riding getting hurt. If more people try these tricks and get hurt than the sport of atving will be hurt. My brother does no-handers,kickouts and such on his Quadracer 250 and he is getting quite good,I can't wait till he gets new front suspension to match the new rear shock to see what he can really do. Trying new tricks are great, but please everyone be safe have a spotter and someone to go for help just in case you need it.

Ok, how do u do a swingout on a ATV?
I ride BMX also and a swingout on a bike is when u swing the rear of the bike out to the side. Back to what u were saying about the rider getting hurt doing the tricks and bringing the sport down, i think that would be a factor but not a big one becaue people get hurt and killed on ATV, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, ect and has yet to seace the popularity of those sports

On espn i saw some atvs do free style, But it was on a dirtbike show and only showed 3 minutes of it. kinda sucked. The atvs did some good tricks. I saw a cordova, nose grab and some more.

The espn2 show is called the Vans Triple Crown MX Freestyle... Right now the ATV's are a pre show to see how the crowd responds... I bet this year you will see a full atv freestyle contest on ESPN2...... The Febuary 2000 Issuse of 4wheel atv action magazine covers atv freestyle

I have done nac nacs on my Blaster way before anyone thought of doing them on a quad At the time I didn't know what it was called, or that it even had a name. But it's sure fun. Everyone thought that I was nuts, now that it's hit the main stream, they think it's cool. Go figure. I have not attempted getting my boots over the bars. My legs are too long and the front tires are too close. That can hurt. But things like Cannonballs are fair game.

The hardest parts is finding the perfect jump with lots of air time and a soft landing. Sand is good, wish I had some. Don't jump into a soft field, unless you want to learn a buzzer real quick.

Do keep in mind that with a nothing, the quad can quickly fall away under you if you let go too long on a bad jump.

As always, be careful.

Hey Andrew. I agree that you should be holding on to those bars for your life when you ride a heavey P.O.S. that you do. Get a man's quad!
