i have a 2005 yfz 450 with a duncan fatboy 4 on it, i love the fatboy but it is extremely loud, i dont know if i should just get a turn down and spark arrestor screen for it, how much will it quite it down it says 2-3 dbs, is that alot and does it require rejetting? but the other exhaust i am lookin at is a fmf q4 with a megabomb head pipe, if i can quite the duncan down for cheap ill stay with that but is the q4 and megabomb better performance?

 

Well 2-3 bds isnt really all that much. But if your looking at getting a new pipe honestly look at getting an HMF sport series. it was rated the best exhaust for the yfz 2-3 years in a row. Also if you can pick one up for a decent price (ebay, private seller ect.) The GYTR is an amazing exhaust for the YFZ. I have one on mine right now. Because GYTR is Yamaha's brand and the work hand in hand with each other to develop the best products for there machines. And have information the aftermarket guys dont. Just like "Team Suzuki/Yoshimura" do. There also not obnoxiously loud.

Haha oh yea i forgot to mention that yoshimura is just about the best thing you can buy. Quadxaddict you just reminded me, I was to busy rambling there and forgot to put that in there haha.
