hmf exhaust systems
#11
well I already had the jet kit, and just thought I would put a aftermarket exhaust on the bike and see what happens. it's a good bike and I like it it just needs a little bit more power or something. and although i know it would never happen. it would be nice if it could keep up with the 300 or 400ex but I know i'm dreaming about that.

I wouldn't say Yoshimura is the BEST pipe. They are definitely louder than the HMF. I know, had one, couldn't ride on the dunes with it.
I don't think the jet kits are a waste of money. Yeah, they send you more jets than you will ever need, but they also include a new needle, which is better than the stock one, or should be. Just my 2 cents......

I have always used dynajet and had great success with them. They also have great tech support if you run into any problems. I'm sure there are others out there that are good, too. I've just stuck with what has worked for me. But, the jet kit does not have to be the same brand as they exhaust.

okay thanks for the help firedog. i might order my new exhaust system later this week. I think that I will give teh hmf system a try cause it comes as a full system from the head pipe back to the muffler.
