I have the full system on my predator. It is a great, inexpensive system producing plenty of low to mid range power. It is loud, but they offer a silencer. It really isn't any louder than my yoshi was. I have also used white bros, they are a little quieter. Keep in mind some pipes perform better for certain atv's. HMF happens to be one of the best for my preddy. Yours may be different, depending what you ride.

I'm not sure who makes the best pipe for the honda 250. You may want to try posting this topic in the honda section of this forum, or pm reconranger, he is very knowledgeable with hondas and can give you better advice. No matter what exhaust you go with, you will get noticeable gains!

sweet cause I was thinking about getting the new exhaust, and then rejet the carb, and then after that I might get a rev box but I might net. I was also thinking about putting in a high compression piston. but that requires a lot of work. I just need a power boost to get my by untill I can save the money to buy myself a bigger sport quad. like a used 400ex or raptor or something like that.

I would live with the 250 the way it is and start saving now for a bigger atv. It will take a lot of money in mods to make the 250 quick. There's a lot more to it then the power, it lacks suspension, etc. I'm not knocking it, it is what it is, I've just experienced this before by pumping a bunch of money into a blaster for my son when he raced when I should have just upgraded the atv in the first place and would have been much better off financially. But if you just limited it to the pipe and jet kit, you wouldn't be out much. Just my 2 cents.....

yeah that's kind of what I was thinking, is that i would do the exhaust and the jet kit kit. and then go from there.

The best is Yoshimura. HMF is average and half the cost.

I run the quiet core in mine, its not really that loud

Also, in a single pipe shootout for the Raptor 700, the HMF and some others rated above the Yoshi.

Almost all of the ones tested were very close in power output. I think you will find this applies to many other models too

I have a 250 Honda, with a Supertrapp. It's a good pipe. not the best and probably not the worst.

The jet kits are pretty much a waste of money, you could pick up a few main jets much cheaper. I have quite a few here for a 250, and could probably hook you up.
