I just got to wondering if the engine from the 300ex and 400ex would fit in the 250ex frame? cause there's not much difference between the three I don't think.

First off....the 300 and 400 are chain drive, and the 250 is shaft. How you going to make that conversion?????

And....the 250 frame has minimalist suspension, imposed by the shaft drive rear end design....so a little 250 is all the motor this little frame can handle!
