ight hers the deal im goig n to get a new atv i recently got rid of my 03 400ex so i need a new 1 i was thinking of the honda 450r but thn again i wouldnt mind gettign a kfx 700 which one do yaw think would be best for going the fastest and doing summudding but mostly weelies and power lines i want somthing alot faster than my old 400ex i need somthing i wont need another 1

 

The KFX is a pig! It is to huge and heavy for a sport quad, and in reality is a shaft drive 2wd utility in sport plastic. If you are a huge guy and the KFX fits you, then get a DS650 instead. But, if you fit fine on your EX, then get one of the 450's.

My 450R is a superb machine! I ride desert at high speed, and it corners like it is on rails. Took me a while to get the suspension dialed in, but it eats big desert whoops for breakfast. None of the 450's are great trail quads, because their engines need to be ridden reved out (nothing like your old EX that would lug down). If you are a trail rider, should have kept the EX!

 

i had to sell it cause i had to spend alot of money for other stuff and so we had to sell both the 400exs over a period of time but well see id always been having the 400 pinned along all trails usually and it i had to turn around id jus pick up the rear n spin it n hop back on sumtimes i had to push back wards and **** got alil agrivating but wasnt to bad idk i jus always wanted more power but id keep the ex in 4th usualy everywhere i went unless i wheeling thn id be in 2nd n 3rd idk it wasa nice 4 wheeler though i miss it jus i wanted sumthn top speed more into upper 80s atleast i wouldnt mind in 100s on road lol anything quick as hell

 

yea i think a 450r would be more my size i only weight in around 130s on a full stomach lol is there anything faster im sure thigns take mods to get into 80s but which atv would be doing 80s easily without much modification?

 

If weighed 130, I would be tearassing around on a light little Raptor 250!

All of the 450's close in terms of power. The 450R is carbed, all the other 450s are EFI.

I'd go with either a KFX450 (you have reverse), DS450X XC, LTR 450, or a YFZ450R
