Default Single most important mod

It's probably been discussed here but I'm tired of looking for it so I'll just ask.

What would be the single most important mod to do on a sport or ute?

Protection for the rider, so that means a set of nerf bars first!

After that, protection for the quad....full chassis and swingarm skid plates and a bumper. Then tires and a desert fuel tank.

Most rookies however, will do motor mods first....which betrays their inexperience!

The single most important Mod is seat time.

Gotta agree with Recon on this. Your safety should be where the money goes first.

Thanks, to be honest I didn't think of that. Considering safety what would be top priority?

For you, the very least would be helmet/goggles, boots and gloves.

Nerfs for the quad if it doesn't have floorboards, then skid plates and guards.

I have known lots of folks who got into trouble because they had no nerf bars. One guy was just putting around with the kids at low speed out at Glamis, and his foot slipped off the peg and his leg got sucked under. He got split from his calf to his groin!!!

A great pair of MX boots is essential as well, but by itself won't save you if you get sucked way under. Here in rattlesnake country (saw 3 on my last ride!), it's nice to have high boots for some excellent snake protection as well!!!

I was wondering about boots. And pressure suits as I see a lot of riders with them. I wouldn't even consider riding without a helmet and goggles. I'll look into the mx boots.

Please forgive me but I'm not familar with "nerf bars".
