Would be nice to have something that'll drag a deer outta the woods still and climb over some stuff..

Well then a Sport Quad is the farthest thing from what you should be looking at!

Ya for what you are looking for in a quad the Reny will probably be your best option. Tho I would say the Reny is first 70% utility and 30% Sport. I am a Yamaha guy but have been looking at a Reny 800 for winter and rougher trail riding!

Ya, I'm gunna get air but im not hitting huge doubles or table tops. 4wheel drive would be nice when i go back to folks place and to be able to use it for huntin some too. I want POWER, lifting the front end would be fun, with a utility thats not as possible. but i think all around something with hands in both areas could be fun. We'll see in a week or two

I agree with Dodge57hemi I love my Predator but its not the best trail bike and as far as pulling a deer with it I wouldn't try that you'll probably tear up the deer and the bike.

I would certainly not buy a Predator. Those have a faulty transmition. also, Banshees(anong with any two-stroke) will blown an engine nearly everytime you take it out. I personnaly had a Honda 400ex and it was completely bulletproof except for sparkplugs. My top suggestions would be a Yamaha Raptor 660 or Honda trx450. They are both strong running bikes that will need very little maintnence. They both have more than enough needed power to climb nearly any hill, sand or dirt, that you could want to go on.

Just be careful. Anything with a 450(or the KTM 525) will not be "low maintenance" They need frequent oil changes and valve adjustments. Not hard things to do, but if you ride a 450 50 hours and never check the valves you will find out what a 2K engine rebuild looks like, lol.

The ex is extremely reliable and i find it the easiest to wheelie because it's light and sees to have the perfect balance point. all the 400 would still be a good choice if you do want to go bigger then instead of going into 660,banshees, and predators choose a 450 way better!
