Default lets infuse more "sport quad" into this place..

1st off, post a pic of your sport quad (trikes too) no matter what year, make, or model, i and others wanna see it! also here are a few questions to answer with my answers already included:

kick or electric:

for a sport machine, i prefer kick. why? less weight, no batter to buy and maintain, and i just enjoy kicking an engine to life. i dont believe sport quads should have many "bells and whistles"

EFI or carberator:

i dont mind the carb, again less weight and complexity. a properly tuned carb will run with any efi system. unless you make constant elevation chanfes, id stick with a carberator

2 stroke or 4:

i like both. its easier to ride and forget a 4 stroke, no need to mix and they have more predictable power... however a 4 stroke is much more expensive and involving to maintain and fix, especially these "new breed" 4 strokes. cant argue the power to cc goes to the 2 stroke also

Not a quad but a sport bike. My 86' 350x.

Perfer my goki elec. start on this one got tired of swollen ankles

Perfer carb. easier to tune.

Like the 4 stroke for my daily rider, And my atc250r for the occasional wild ride

I'm lazy, so I prefer electric starting. :P Although the electrical systems on our Warriors have made me wish they had kick starts.

I've only experienced carbs, I've never had an ATV with EFI. But if it means not having clogged jets, things being out of adjustment, etc., I'm all for EFI.

I prefer 4-strokes since they're quieter. Although if I spent more time with 2-strokes, I'd probably appreciate their fastness and lightness.

2001 Kawasaki Lakota Sport 300... morals of the day: always have your chain at the proper tension, and keep sport ATVs on the trails. This was taken shortly after towing it back to the house after the incident. Unfortunately we have nowhere to shelter our ATVs so they sit out in the rain. $30 for a transmission cover, $75-ish for an O-ring chain, and oil and filter later, it's back in commission, cleaner, and thanks to Star-Tron, starting better (even though it's always been a very good starter, and smooth-runner... this is my all-time favorite engine). I've since purchased mud flaps for it. I received it without mudflaps and tool kit/owner's manual.

Starting up our Warriors:

All these videos were taken shortly after all three ATVs were rejuvenated (replacing the transmission cover on the Lakota, rebuilding carbs on the Warriors after they sat for 5 or more years, replacing clutch cables on the Warriors, and more).
