I found a deal on a set of 99 upper and lower A arms for my Banshee for $100 but I don't know whether or not to get them since if the ball joints go bad I'm right back in the same spot I'm at now since my stock 89 ball joints and J and A arms are shot. I noticed that I could get a set of Krypton A arms for $375 but I really don't have the extra money right now. Would I be better off to get the used stock a arms or save for a while and get the Krypton A arms. Also I know some of you will probably ask why I'm getting A arms with an 89 since I have J arms up top but I'm going to go ahead and convert my frame for upper A arms. Thanks for those who help.

In the long run it will be cheaper to buy the aftermarket a-arms which should have removable ball joints. It will cost you a fortune to keep replacing your stock a-arms when the ball joints go bad. At least with the aftermarket ones you can just replace the ball joints.

Well after market's with removable joints would be nice, but quite a bit more money. Now stop and think, your 1989 joints are at about 12 years old. I'd say they have lasted quite a while and so the used ones will probably last you 10 years. Coincidentally I also have an 89 J-arm Banshee w/ original J-arms that are also basicly at the end of their life. Anyway I'm solving that problem buy swapping my parts over to an A-arm frame.

P.S. If you don't end up buying the factory A-arms, email me back with the contact info on them as I need a set of upper A-Arms for my Banshee.

Thanks, Rude Dog
