Look at this quad. It is awsome. My question is what kind of plastic is on it. My friend has a 250r and he needs new plastic. Is that stock plastic or aftermarket. If so and u know what company makes it please tell me.

The picture of the quad you have has 88 250r original plastic on it. The 1986-87 250r's had hite plastic with either a red or blue seat and tank, depending on the year. The 1988 250r's were all red, the plastics, seat and tank with white stickers on the fenders. The 1989 250r's had white fenders with a red tank and seat. The cost for the rear fender, both fron fenders and the hood from the dealer for the red 88 plastic is right at $825. There is a company called "Fullbore" that make fenders for the 250r's and Banshee's. They come nice and shiny like OEM plastics with just a slight variance in shape, but look real good. I would buy nothing other than stock Honda plastic or Fullbore brand. All other aftermarket plastics for 250r's are "vacum packed" when they are made, so they are not shiny and they don't fit well.

I prefer original plastics myself, but Fullbore does produce a good looking plastic. I havn't found a website for them, not sure if they even have one, but you should be able to buy their plastic's through either Baldwin Motorsports at www.baldwinmotorsports.com (440)224-2734 or Parker ATV & cycle (541)756-3967. Hope this helps.....
