Oh and they are a little heavier but not by much if you look at weights compared to other quads. A raptor 660 weighs 398 lbs and a predator weighs 415 lbs its a very small difference if your not racing. With a quad that has reverse you are going to have some extra weight but with the suspension setup that comes on them and the power they provide, I can throw mine around pretty good.

who ever said that probably has bald or cheap tires there's no reason a quad will just spin as long as you have a decent set of tread

i haven't owned either of those so i wouldn't know sorry. from what iv herd those are both great quad and i think the ltz400 is a little better than the 400ex. I'm not saying the predator is better than any other quad i'm just saying its a good quad for the money and iv had nothing but good experiences with it

not as much low end torque as the raptor 660. but if i'm sitting on my seat and press the gas it will still do wheelies without even pulling on the handlebars at all. it has more torque than a raptor 660 when your get a little higher in the RPM's though. so do you usually stay lower in the gears on your trails then? do you ever get to open it up?

Basically the majority of the trail are bad but when i am riding out to my friends cabin we have to take logging roads there (probably my favourite surface to drive on).

Here in eastern Ontario there are zero groomed atv trails. There are awesome sled trails but unfortunately no atvs allowed.

i gotta be honest if your trails are narrow and have lots of stumps along the edges you can hit i would look at the the raptor 660 over the 400's just because you wont outgrow it and you'll never be worried about lack of power. As for the predator vs. raptor 660.... the predator is okay on narrow trails but it is a little wider than the raptor 660. the raptor was made for tight trails. as far as power goes for the raptor and predator they are neck and neck
