I'm thinking about running some hare scrambles on my quad, but I'd like some more information on it. I've never raced it before, but I think this would be fun. You can see the list of mods that my quad has below. What class would I run in? How can I figure out about hare scrambles in my area and how do I go about entering them? Anyone have any experience with this?

I am pretty sure you have to be AMA. There is 1 in St. Claresville ohio soon. I might run it. I am not sure about the class's.

Tooey you are lucky to live in Cadiz. There are so many poker runs and huge trail rides down there. I went down there a while back for one and it was really fun. Do you know when there will be anymore in your area?

raptorridah, A hare scramble is basically about a 10-15 mile race across the wilderness.

You should ride whatever "B" class they have for your machine size. If you ride in a "OPEN B" class, this means you will be competing against 2 and 4 stroke machines. If it is AMA sanctioned, you can join the AMA at the race. You may want to narrow you quads axle up, if it is adjustable.
