Do you consider the Polaris Scrambler/Sport 400 as a sport machine ?

Mike, that's exactly what I feel. The Sport 400 may not have the pure power of a Banshee but it's smoother and controllable even in extreme conditions. It may not have the torque of a 400EX but the variable transmission works that out.
The fact that it weights more than other quads doesn't make it exactly a "tank", in my opinion. Besides it has a good suspension and also has reverse.
Maybe I like the Sport 400 just because I usually ride in the woods with some mud. I've seen Banshee owners really mad when their quads can't go through a muddy terrain or when they have to pick it up with their hands and turn it around because of no reverse.
Maybe if I was in the US I would prefer a 400EX or a DS650 or whatever.

JNB_Sport400,
I just got my Sport back from the dealer today. WOW! You'd better hang on tight for this ride. I had a roller clutch installed and porting done by Rick Ritter. You really have to be careful on this thing. I still haven't given it full throttle yet and it's already starting to scare me. Imagine riding the machine in a paved, slightly wet parking lot. Imagine also, giving the machine gas and having the rear wheels start to slide sideways on you WHILE wheeling! I have to be careful from now on! I doubt if even a slightly modded Banshee will do this! WHOA!

A Scrambler can be considered anything you want because its yours and you can do what ever you want to do with it. At the county fairgrounds where I live, a Scrambler can race with utilities or sport quads. It depends who you want to race.
