Have you looked over at Ebay Motors ATV. It appears everyone is selling Raptors. I would say >20% of the quads for sale are Raptors???

 

maybe cause they are built like $hit? great power but inferior workmanship and reliability.

 

Greetings from Ocala, Florida....... I see alot of them for sale too on Ebay. I just think people get in over their heads either money wise or performance wise.

If you notice there are also alot of other quads on there.I looked last night and saw over 5 400ex's on it. Pepole need money and want to sell it quick.

 

Same thing in the Cycle Trader. Raptors & 400EXs are plentiful. I will not say it's due to any fault of the quads b/c I don't know. There probably are 2 main reasons:

#1 The 0 interest program has expired and they can't afford them.
#2 They just don't ride much and need the cash (bad economy).

 

It could be because early Raptors have exploding transmissions and most people on Ebay do not know this. Therefore they can get a better price. ie, fool the consumer.

i dont believe there is any other major quads that i forgot. i sort of like raptors, and i do admit....that is pretty sad though. how could a quad that they have been producing for 16 years, be less than one that have been making for like 2. that is pretty sad. oh well. not much you can do.

 

oh, and i just did the math, its 24% of four wheelers are raptors. lol, good call Zman.

 

The last 3 times I went out actually "riding" there were more raptors than anything else out there combined, its nice riding with fellas that can keep up once in a while
