you KNOW the warrior's days are numbered, its just flat getting old...

what i'd like to see is the new 450 raptor style quad coming out with the "warrior"
name down the fenders, and discon the old style, or phase it out.
time to do justice to a great name! I'd buy one!

Didn't go anywhere just sitting back and reading what every one says (which you all seem to have good points in your opinion) LOL actually I am only 5,6 165 so......
Hey I was even thinking about a Lakota but they will be so hard to find around here this summer, so I was told a warrior would be good 4 me by a previous owner but I've read good about the 300Ex so this brings me here.....
Keep postin'
Thanks

BigChris,

Your not all that big.

I am a little taller but you would fit right on the 300EX with room to spare.

My visions of my former 300EX( owned 2 years ) is how well it performed in the woods at our place. It doesn't have a lot of top end speed at just over 50 mph, but when your in the confines of the trail/woods it was at home and would do every thing it was asked to do and come back home.

The only problem I had was at about after 5 months of riding I had a right front shock that started to bind and Honda replaced it.

I Would Have To Say A 300EX. Because Like He Said Warriar's Day's Are Numbered. My Old 300Ex Would Run About 70MPH All It Had On It Was DG Fount Bumper And Grab Bar. But It Had The "Coon Tune"On it As You Ky Boys Know. All You Have To Do Is Put Gas,oil, And Clean The Air Filter And It's Going To Last FOREVER!!!

Let Me Say This RIDE RED!!!!!!!!

Well, we all know the Warrior will last forever also. I have the Warrior and I must just be a good rider because I don't feel that the quad handles badly at all. My brother has a 400ex and says the front end pushes more than he'd like. He actually likes the way the Warrior feels in the woods. Although motor-wise the Warrior needs to be beat on to hang with a 400ex.

We used to race Hare Scrambles on bikes with consistent top 5 finishes...we know how to ride. I believe that after I build the engine and get Works shocks that I will whip up on Z400s. We are talking real riding, not that straight line BS.

If you want people's opinions on certain brands of quads, then this is not the place to ask. Every other post is "this-vs-that". As you can tell there is always going to be a debate...my reply is no exception. I know the Warrior is better!

Go to the brand-specific sites and ask about each quad, but don't mention the other quad. You will most likely learn the strengths and weaknesses of each quad, without starting a debate over this is better than that. People will tell you the weaknesses if they are not trying to "build up" the machine to make it look better than the other one...it's just simple human behavoir. I don't mean the behavoir of "simple humans" so don't flame me!

I liked my clunky warrior better in the woods than my cousins brand new 300ex. The turning radius on his 300ex was WAY large. I liked the wheely action on the 300ex but that doesnt help in the woods at all
