Default What tires are they using in the Dakar?

Just from what I have seen of the coverage on TV I know that the tires the average atv rider uses would last all of about 2hrs. Anyone have any ideas on what they may be using? I saw the raptor carrying spares front and rear, I bet he wished he could carry more. The tires that we use just are not made for that abuse..

You would think that they would put a liner or something inside to resist punctures. Maybe even go with tubes with one of those tire liners. I just think that common ATV tires are not made for that kind of speed and abuse..
