Default Best Trailing Sport Quad

Hello,
I am just curious to hear your opinions on what you think the best sports quad for trailing is. I live in South Florida so I would assume most of you know what the terrain is down here. I want a fast bike that can handle anything that is thrown at it. Mud, Water, Tight Trails and all that stuff.

I have been looking at an 03 Rap and I have heard that it's pretty good on trails. Also I was told that a Z400 is good too. At this point in time I just want to tear it up on the trails and fling some mud while keeping up with the speeders. Maybe in the future I will Mod it to where I can drag, but that isn't what I really want a bike for. Speedy trail bike is what I want :-P. Please throw all your opinions at me...I need to get a bike ASAP!

Thanks
Mohrg

The Rappy is good, but the Vforce is better for trails. Incredible low end power. Lower center of gravity. Wider stance. It handles like a dream. The 500+ pound dry weight is very deceptive. I only weigh 165# and have no problem throwing it around in the woods.
Don't take my word for it. Test ride one. I think you 'll agree.

I would recomend the Raptor
-Power everywhere so you don't have to shift much
-nimble, but a little tippy
-easy to wheelie over things
-reverse
-it looks really cool
-soft suspension

Never ridden a z much, but I here they are pretty good too, just not as much power

The Yamaha Warrior still has legendary trail performance despite its outdatedness, as well as great reliability. Just my 2 cents.................

The Warrior is like a Timex.....Takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

Any Yami you buy you will have to get different tires. The factory ones suck.

I have said it Many times on here, The KFX700 (V-Force) Is hands down, the BEST 2WD Trail Quad I have ever riden, PERIOD.

It Climbs like no other (2WD Quad), is responsive to input from the rider, Very stable, Very comfortable on long rides, has no bump-steer, and has enough power to get you Through or Over just about Anything. Due to the Shaft Drive, it has more ground clearance than any other Sport Quad out there. In the rough stuff, ground clearance is essential. On top of all of that, it is more than Fast enough.

I own both a KFX700 and a 400. I will never take my 400 out on a trail ride again, after having spent several hours out roaming the trails on my 700, I'm hooked, it is just that good. I still prefer the KFX400 in the sand.
