Default Banshee or LT-500?

The 500 is a great quad. I had a friend with one. It got stolen so he bought a shee. Stock to stock the 500 will pull the banshee, but if you were to do anything to a banshee it would win. I have never lost to a 500 on mine and dont plan to. Banshee all day long.

Zilla. They can be mechanically challenging, however. Banshees have a lot of after market stuff available. I like them both.

Um... well a Quadzilla is a completely different animal than a Banshee. I personally like the broad power range of the Suzuki over the unperdictable snap of the Banshee's powerband. A Quadzilla with a silencer, no head pipe, filter and jets will beat a piped and jetted banshee. Now, there are tons of other things that you can do to either machine so comparing them beyond this point is hard, but with equal mods, or even slightly more on the Banshee, the Quadzilla will be more powerful and faster. Banshees have an enormous aftermarket, while the Quadzilla is somewhat limited in comparison, so there are more options with the Banshee. But, the Suzuki will always have much much more bottom end torque, and no abrupt powerband, they are easier to manage, all becides the fact that they are bigger and heavier. I like Quadzillas better myself, the power is more fun to me. Another thing, Banshees are weird, they always want to spin in gravel and dirt, but when you get them to hook up, they wheelie quite easily. On the other hand, a Quadzilla seems to direct the power more to the ground, having better traction, and don't tend to wheelie unless provoked. The machines are very different, oh yeah, as far as I have learned, zillas are more reliable and last quite longer between rebuilds. Well I think you can see that I have many hours on a Quadzilla and almost an equal ammount on a Banshee, so there you go... Not too knowledgeable on a Raptor, I've heard they wheelie and want to tip easily.

Thanks for the input--it's much appreciated. Let's see, all I want is the comfort of my Raptor, the tossability and light weight of my LT250, the low end and midrange of a 'Zilla, top end of a wildly ported Banshee, electric start of course, heck I'm easy to please. Maybe if cold beer came out of the silencer too as long as I'm dreamin' this hard.....

if you have the funds i would look at the Gas Gas HP 300, ive got a zilla and just sold my banshee to get the gas gas and it is unbelivable, great power, smoth ride and super comfortable and what a jumper. this machine has everything that you would want on after market parts and then some But if your going used find a clean zilla for the money stick with the suzuki....

Never saw any Gas Gas at the dunes this weekend would have liked to see 'em go. And yeah, jumping's my favorite thing, might have to look at one. Some guy on a 500 was making Choke Cherry his b**ch, it was cool. But I ain't sure how they fly......
